Chloe's first day at the beach. I think she liked it. She liked stomping in the wet sand. I liked taking pictures of her. It was cold and misty for August...but who knows, maybe this is normal for the coast.
Still, we managed to have some fun and enjoy our family time together, even though SOMEONE wouldn't take a nap.
Running on the beach was fun, even though she managed to crash quite spectacularly...see below.
The photography in me wanted to keep pushing the shutter, the dad in me wanted to run, and the immature boy in me wanted to laugh.
We started the day at 5AM and managed to leave by about 545! We stopped for breakfast at a Mcdonald's in North Bend, then when Chloe was tired of being cooped up, we stopped in Lacey at another Mcdonald's. This one had a nice indoor playground and since we'd already eaten, brazenly used the playground to de-energize Chloe. It work and forty minutes later we were cruising down the road again!
We made it to the beach at about 11am. We played on the beach and shopped and ate and then checked in. It's been a lot of fun so far!

It has been pretty normal for the coast to be like this, especially since the temps are lower this summer, but today should be spectacular!! I hope! I'm inland going to Snohomish to enjoy sprinklers at a friend's house! Have a wonderful weekend!
She looks like she might be a good beacher. Since she likes the water and sand a lot I believe she is going to have fun !!!!
