A Couple Barns

It's been awhile, and I probably could have joined last week, but the old barn photos never rival the ones I COULD take this week.  So, just to prove that, here are a few I took last week.  As usual, I have upped the contrast and colors and used the "Magic Bullet" to help with the plain-ness brought about by our winter weather.

As I type, it is nap time for one very tired little girl.  As it turns out, it is very hard for me to keep my own eyes open.  Apparently keeping up with her burns more energy than teaching 140 freshmen.
I thought I was finished when I got to the one above, then I decided to try one more thing on it and that's how I got the bottom.  I like it, too, but I put both up because I'd like to hear your opinions.

You're not kidding about the plain-ness of our winter weather... no snow & drab sky makes for some drab winter shots, but you've added much to yours

Of the last 2 shots... I like the orange in the sky of the 1st one - & the 2nd might be a touch too bright, so I'll go w/ the 1st of the last 2...

Thanks for sharing w/ us at Barn Charm =)

ps will you consider turning off captcha on your blog? it would be much appreciated... if you're not sure how, i'll be happy to help =)
thanks

The top snap is an amazing edit! The sky looks HDR! The magic bullet? Enlighten me please! The second shot also amazing and my favorite :) I think I am going to like it here :) I hope this get through the Word Verification, it wears my 60 year old brain out!

I took the word verification off, hopefully that does it for you.

Magic Bullet is a plug-in for Corel PaintShop Photo Pro. It came with it when I bought it, then three months later they came out with a new version of my program and I'm too spendthrift to spend another $40. Anyway, the plug-in allows me to set different "looks," some pre-made others of my own invention.

Oh, and yes, the first one IS HDR.
