This is how I found Little Miss this morning. As I am not posting enough pictures of her for my dear sister's needs, I am posting this. Seems there is no wasted blanket in that crib as she seems to sleep on all of them. If you look closely, there are three. She began the night surrounded by them and in her normal sitting-up nodding-off mode in her vain attempt to stay awake.
At the end of it, she was having such a hard time staying awake that when I finally crept in and laid her down, she simple looked at me through sleep-glazed eyes and then cuddled into her blanket. I guess the secret is letting her fight it as long as she can and letting exhaustion do the rest.
About two hours later she awoke hungry. I gave her a bottle and a-half...the extra was because she was still hungry and it stilled the wailing beast! She went back to the crib without opposition that time.
I was about out the door this morning when the school district called and asked if I knew they were on conference schedule today. I said no. She said, well, you don't need to be here until 9:45...She made my morning. I was able to go in a pick up the little princess when she awoke, and then witness the ecstatic Joy wiggle and grin when she saw her Mommy for the first time this morning...well, I am ok being chopped liver.
