On the downside, Cora got stuck at work and Chloe and I went to Gymkids alone. Chloe did well, but she kept looking to the stands to see if Mommy had somehow shown up. She DOES love her mommy. We were both pleased to find Mommy had pulled in just minutes before we did.
On a Barny note: I took these Friday. I happened to be in another part of the valley. I found a few barns and this one was the one I really liked. Not bad for what was basically a drive-by.
On a second Barny note: I took the word verification off last week and within what seemed like hours, but was really the next day, I got three SPAM comments, offering me everything from Electronic Cigarettes to Some sort of shampoo that would grow more hair on my head. Given that I put the word-verification on to avoid that stuff, I am afraid I went back in and put the word-verification back on. I sincerely apologize to those of you who mentioned difficulty commenting. It is sad when people and corporations do things that make us HAVE to protect ourselves. The thing is, I know some others who have no word-verification and never get SPAMMED! It doesn't seem fair.
As ever, drop by Barn Charms and say hi to the wonderful folks who post barns!

Your second photo is great.
Regards and best wishes
P. S. I had the same problem with spams. so there is a word verification for comments on my blog.
love the sunshine look. great barn. (:
ohhh love these shots! i didn't know there was a board game edition of oregon trail...my daughter loved the computer game of it....it's around here somewhere!
Gorgeous barn! HDR?
Nice play with the sunlight on the barns!!
Have you considered moderating comments instead of the capcha gibberish? I rarely get spam comments. The approval is a deterrent.
Beautiful barn & the fence is a nice addition to the shot... love the lens flare, it just adds something more to the scene!
That 2nd one is out-of-sight dazzling! WoW!
Thanks so much for joining in & linking up to this week's Barn Charm =)
I can understand the spam concern... Have you tried Comment Moderation instead of Word Verification? That way, you have to confirm it before it hits your blog
I really like both of these...
You know you can set your comments not to publish till after you have seen them and not have to have word verification at all.
I do not know why it is that sometimes spammers just won't leave us alone. I can really rant about this subject...first of all if I needed something I would never in my wildest dreams buy it from them...I would do without first.
I love your editing of these shots! Beautiful!
Absolutely wonderful. That second shot is stunning!
