I hope you'll click on over to Barn Charms and see some of the barns there. I've been out of the mix lately for a variety of reasons, many of which center around being a parent of a two year old.

The Old Homestead
About 25 miles to the East of my house is this homestead. I've watched it through the years. When I was still in high school it had a windmill for pumping water into a trough. That has long since fallen. There used to be a few more buildings, but all that's left now are two cars, two farm implements, and two buildings. I doubt if the one below quite counts as a barn, but it IS an out building and that's close, right?
I hope you'll click on over to Barn Charms and see some of the barns there. I've been out of the mix lately for a variety of reasons, many of which center around being a parent of a two year old.

The first shot is awesome...love the perspective!
These are great shots and really create a feeling. Love your processing!
AWESOME shots, Jim! The old truck is so cool, esp how you 'freaked' it out like that! LoL! And ya can't beat the perspective w/ the old structure in the background. The 2nd counts as a barn, in my opinion, anyway! And the last 2 shots are icing on the cake... love that sky! =)
We all understand about having missed a few Barn Charm posts... thanks for joining this week! =)
Nice shots!
These are awesome photos!
When I look at old buildings I get a feeling of nostalgia, and I think to myself they used to be young and freshly painted as I once was.
Well, maybe not painted, but you know what I mean.
These are great shots Jim, your vignetting adds a vintage mood... I love finding places like that! I'm your newest follower...
Beautiful in its starkness. You've captured the mood and the setting perfectly---wonderful shots.
