Last Year's Barns Have Style

I remembered taking these last fall, and it took a while to locate them.  I hope they were worth the effort.  The first one I darkened, saturated and contrasted with a touch of tone mapping.

The next one just didn't seem like it was in focus quite, but it was such a nice shot I used a painterly effect on it and I think I saved it from the cutting room floor.  I also upped the contrast, the saturation, and did some tone mapping.
I spent the day with the daughter and did a little house work...all in all, it's been another good day!

Yep, worth the effort! The first one looks almost like a painting to me.
